DeepL Translator is an advanced machine translation system developed by DeepL SE in Cologne. It uses convolutional neural networks and translates through an English pivot (e.g. Italian → Spanish is translated from Italian → English → Spanish). Using DeepL in CaptionHub
To set up the DeepL Translator connector in CaptionHub:
- Go to the Connectors page, accessible from the top-right drop down menu in CaptionHub
- Click on the MT engines tab
- Click Edit on the DeepL Translate connector
- Toggle to enable the connector
Formality
You can also set the default level of formality for your translations from the DeepL connector page. If formality is not supported for a language this setting is ignored.
You can also set DeepL’s formality on a per-project, per-translation basis.
