Exporting VTT from a live stream

After an event is finished, you can download a VTT of the stream in all languages. To do this, navigate to the history tab and click on “Download VTTs”.

These subtitle files are intended for QA and auditing purposes.

To generate captions for VOD, we always recommend you create a new project in CaptionHub, and use your preferred transcription and translation provider to generate new captions. Linguists will be able to improve the captions using our editor.

CaptionHub can achieve higher precision and caption quality in a VOD setting. This is primarily because speech recognition services improve when given longer audio files. The VOD workflow also employs scene detection, which allows it to split up captions more naturally.
