To set up our JW Player connector, you'll need to enter your JW Player Site ID and Secret (API) Token.

  1. Firstly obtain your Secret Token. You can do this by navigating to your API credentials and add an API Key with an appropriate name. Once this is added you can select β€˜Show Secret’ to show and then copy your Secret Token.
  1. Open up your CaptionHub Connectors page (see below) and copy the Secret Token.

  1. Secondly, you need to copy and paste the Site ID (also known as the Property ID) from JW Player to CaptionHub, you can find the Site ID here: https://dashboard.jwplayer.com/account/properties

  1. Open a new browser window for CaptionHub
  1. Navigate to the Connectors page, available from the top-right dropdown menu
  1. Paste the Site ID and theΒ Secret Token from the JW Player window
  1. Click on the "Update" button at the bottom of the page

Once the integration is setup

  1. From β€˜New Project from’ on your Dashboard in CaptionHub, select JW Player
  1. All your JW Player media will be displayed, from where you can import into CaptionHub to subtitle
  1. Alternatively you can set up Dynamic Ingest to automatically import, transcribe and even publish back to JW Player for you
