Configure the Mux connector
Connect with Mux to import videos and publish captions and audio tracks
Configure the Mux connector to (automatically) pull in new assets and caption live streams.
Step 1: Get your Mux API credentials
To set up the Mux connector, sign into Mux as an admin, and navigate to “Settings” → “Access Tokens”.

If you don’t see the “Access Tokens” option in this menu, make sure your account is an admin.
You’ll see this page:

Click on “Generate access token”. Choose an environment (probably “Production”) and give it the “Mux Video” read/write permissions. You can also give it a descriptive name.

Now copy the Access Token ID and Secret Key:

Step 2: Configure in CaptionHub
And paste them into the Mux connector config on CaptionHub:

Set up webhooks
If you want to automatically import Mux assets into CaptionHub (or use it with live captions), you’ll need to configure a webhook in Mux.
Step 1. Copy your unique webhook URL
Navigate to the Mux connector page in CaptionHub and copy the webhook URL.
Step 2: Configure Mux
In Mux, navigate to “Settings” → “Webhooks”. Click “Create webhook” and paste in the URL from step 1. Make sure your environment matches the environment of the API key you configured above.
