Creating voiceover deliverables
Export your generated voiceovers in various formats.
Requirements: Enterprise subscription
To use CaptionHub Voiceover to export audio:
- First, ensure you have:
- Followed the steps to generate a voiceover
- Refined the output
- Open the Voiceover Editor.
- Click ‘Download audio’ to download a .wav file to your machine.

To use CaptionHub Voiceover to export video with embedded audio:
- Follow the steps above until your audio is ready for download.
- Click the down-facing arrow next to the Download audio button and select Render/Download Voiceover Video.

- This will take you to the Export tag within your project. Once here, select the language version for which you want to render the voiceover.
- Click ‘CaptionHub Render Voiceover’—this will automatically render the voiceover onto the original video and mark it as ‘Completed’ when finished.
- Once rendering is complete, select the language version and click Download. Then, choose ‘Download CaptionHub Voiceover (Video)’.
- This will download the original video you uploaded to CaptionHub, now with the synthetically generated audio burnt-in.
To use CaptionHub Voiceover to export video with embedded audio and burnt-in subtitles:
- Follow the steps above until you have an exported video with embedded audio.
- Return to the Translations tab within your project
- Navigate to the menu cog (⚙️) and select Replace Project Video.
- Upload the newly exported video with the rendered voiceover.
- Go back to the Export tab.
- Select the language version you'd like to render with burnt-in subtitles.
- Click Render — this will apply your caption formatting and start the rendering process.
- Once rendering is complete, return to the Export tab.
- Select the same language version, then click Download > Download Render to save the final file locally. This file will include both the embedded voiceover and the burnt-in subtitles.
