Archiving a project
Projects can be archived instead of deleted. Unlike deletion, archived projects can be easily restored at any time.
When a project is archived, it is not deleted — it is simply removed from the Projects page and moved to the Archived Projects view. All project data, including captions, associated metadata, and any third-party player connections (for example, Brightcove), remain fully intact and retrievable.
Archiving simply relocates the project for organisational purposes, allowing you to access it again whenever needed.
To archive a project (VOD or Live)
- From the Project page, open the drop-down menu.
- Select Archive project.
- You can view all archived projects in the Archived projects view.
To unarchive a project
- Go to the Archived projects view on the Projects page.
- Select the project you want to restore.
- From the project’s drop-down menu, choose Unarchive project.
