How to live caption a HLS stream from Cloudflare
Cloudflare Stream live streaming outputs HLS that is compatible with CaptionHub Live.
Configuration
1. Configure a stream in Cloudflare
- Enable “Live Playback and Recording”
- Disable “Low-Latency HLS support”
- Disable “Require Signed URLs”

2. Create a project in CaptionHub
From the Cloudflare UI, copy the “HLS Manifest URL”. Use this when creating a new project.
Supported players
We currently do not support Cloudflare’s own player, but you can use any of our supported players for the HLS integration.
Requirements & limitations
- Using signed URLs is not currently supported
- Using Low-Latency HLS support is not currently supported
