Create captions from timed text
CaptionHub supports the ability to use timed text as a starting point for your captioning project. Depending on the plan you're subscribing to, you can import SRT, VTT, TTML, iTT, EBU-STL or IMSC Rosetta files.
This kind of workflow is particularly useful if you're creating translations from a video that's already been captioned, or if you'd like to use CaptionHub's toolset to reversion pre-existing subtitled content.
Here's how to use it:
- Click on the Create captions orΒ Replace original captions buttons, and choose Upload timed text
- Choose the language your timed text is in, and select its format
- Click on the Select file button to locate the timed text file on your computer
- Adjust the caption limits, if you like, via the Advanced options drop-down
- Click Submit
