Text encoding
If you're uploading text to CaptionHub, please make sure it's encoded as UTF-8. To ensure this is the case, you can try the following steps.
Windows
- Download and install this powerful free text editor: Notepad++
- Open the file you want to verify/fix in Notepad++
- In the top menu select Encoding > Convert to UTF-8 (option without BOM)
- Save the file
MacOS
- Open file in TextEdit
- Choose Format > Make Plain Text
- Save the file
