Let's explore these options:
Auto Transcribe will automatically generate captions for you. We use speech recognition to generate a transcript, and create timed captions. Make sure to specify the correct language in the dialogue box that follows.
Import transcript allows you to import a Plain Text transcript in a variety of different ways:
- Automatically (using audio) – uses speech recognition to align your transcript with the movie (Requirements: Enterprise plan)
- On line breaks – inserts a caption break wherever there's a line break
- On sentence breaks – inserts a caption break wherever there's a sentence break
Upload timed text – if you already have a timed text file (VTT, SRT or TTML), then upload it here.
Blank – this option allows you to start from scratch, individually creating and timing out captions.
