Folders

Learn how to use folders to organise your projects.

Folders are a simple way to organise your projects in CaptionHub, just like organising files on your computer. Instead of endless scrolling, use folders to manage your projects more efficiently.

Adding folders

  1. On the Projects page, click + New folder at the top right to create a folder. Alternatively, you can use the + icon.

  1. Give the folder a name and click Add.

  1. Your folder will appear below.

  1. Use the kebab menu next to a folder to rename, move, or delete it.

Working with folders

  • Click a folder to see the projects it contains. From here, you can also add subfolders if you need a more detailed structure.
  • The breadcrumb trail at the top of the page shows where you are. Use it to move between levels of your folder structure.

  • You can also navigate using the folder structure view.

  • Any new projects you create inside a folder will be saved there automatically.
  • Move projects into a folder by dragging and dropping.

  • Sort your folders using the Sort selector to choose the option that works best for you.

Tip: Folders can be combined with Tags and Filters for even more powerful organisation.
