How to customise the display for venues

The in-room display is a web page designed to be shown on a screen in the venue. From the project interface, you can generate URLs for one or more displays.

  • QR code helper text – Add optional instructions or information below the code.

A live preview is available in-app, so you can instantly see how your display settings will look without needing to open the full editor

Holding screen

You can point the URL at a static holding screen, which displays the QR code and helper text (same as transcript screen).

Automatically switch between transcript and holding

Setting the screen option to “Automatic” will make the the display start at the holding screen, and switch over automatically when the first transcript arrives. In most cases this is the recommended option.
