Introduction to in-room transcription

Timbra in-room is a new way to bring live captions directly into the room. Using a low-latency version of Timbra with a transcript widget, you’ll be able to display real-time translated transcripts that keep attendees engaged, whether they’re hard of hearing, in a noisy space, or following along in a second language.

Supporting 50+ source languages and simultaneous translation into 250 languages, it features termbases, custom dictionaries, formality settings, and full control over visibility.

Select New project from… and Live stream from HLS/RTMP/SRT. Choose either the RTMP or SRT option. Now pick In-room/webinar.

You’ll need to stream audio to Timbra. There are many options to do this: stream to Timbra using SRT/RTMP.
