By implementing a greater number of rules into our Natural Captions technology, we ensure that AI-generated subtitles look and feel like they were crafted by a skilled human, not a machine. Instead of rigid, closed-caption-style formatting, Natural Captions follows professional subtitling best practices for smooth readability and natural flow.

No more awkward line breaks or unnatural pauses. Natural Captions applies advanced rules to keep phrases intact and respect sentence structure, improving readability.
Flexible, customisable styleguides
Captions now follow professional subtitling standards (like TED or BBC guidelines, linked here for reference) and can be tailored to your specific needs—ensuring your subtitles align with your style.
If no style guide is available for a particular language, Natural Captions applies a basic level of support: it splits captions at punctuation, speaker changes, and similar structural cues but does not apply grammar rules or extensive post-processing of machine translation.
When a style guide is available, it enables full customisation, with some guides incorporating more sophisticated rules than others. If you notice issues that a style guide should have addressed, please reach out—we're happy to explore refining it further.
