Dashboard
An overview of recent projects and activity.
When you log into CaptionHub, the first thing you'll see is the dashboard.
On it, you can see:
- your most recent projects
- the latest activity on your projects
The main view shows the latest projects you've got permission to work on. (Archived projects do not appear in 'latest projects'.) You can jump through to all your projects (including archived projects) from the Projects link at the top of the screen.
Latest activity shows the latest activity across all the projects you're working on. Activity logs often contain links to take you directly to the subject of that activity.
Superuser dashboard view
The superuser dashboard provides a consolidated view of key platform activity and usage statistics, giving superusers insight into how your organisation is leveraging CaptionHub.
The dashboard surfaces both high-level trends and detailed breakdowns, allowing you to monitor adoption, productivity, and content outputs over a selected time period.
Key analytics and metrics
The dashboard includes the following summary statistics for the selected period:
- Minutes exported – Total minutes of content exported across all projects.
- Approvals – Number of completed caption set approvals for content within the platform.
- Languages used – Count of unique languages applied across projects.
- Total projects – Total number of projects initiated.
- Last project created – Timestamp of the most recently created project.
- Active users – Number of users set to active.
- Active connectors – Count of external connectors in use.
- Primary export – The most frequently used export method.
Detailed export statistics
Where applicable, the dashboard also breaks down total minutes output by export type, providing visibility into the types of content being generated. These may include:
- Platform publish – Minutes of content published directly through CaptionHub to your connected Online Video Platform (OVP).
- Voiceover created – Total minutes of full voiceovers produced.
- Voiceover clip created – Minutes of voiceover clips regenerated.
- Timed text – Total minutes of captioning or subtitle files exported.
- Render download – Minutes of video content downloaded with captions burned into the original media file.
- Live – Minutes streamed in live projects.
- Connect sent vendor – Total number of Connect requests sent to vendors during the selected period.
