How to produce live in-room captions
Timbra in-room brings live transcripts directly into the room. Using a low-latency version of Timbra with a transcript widget, you’ll be able to display real-time translated transcripts that keep attendees engaged, whether they’re hard of hearing, in a noisy space, or following along in a second language.
Set up a project
Select Create new project and Live stream from HLS/RTMP/SRT. Choose either the RTMP or SRT option. Now pick In-room/webinar.
Streaming into CaptionHub
You’ll need to stream audio to Timbra. There are many options to do this: stream to Timbra using SRT/RTMP.
Showing captions to the audience
- Show the in-room display on a screen in the venue
- Provide the in-room companion for attendees
