Using Language Weaver in CaptionHub:
There are two ways to use Language Weaver as a translation option within CaptionHub.
1) Use the global Language Weaver account. This requires no configuration
2) Set up a connector so that you can use your company’s own Language Weaver account
This page shows how to set up the connector for option 2). For this you will need a Language Weaver account.
In Language Weaver:
- Log into the Language Weaver portal
- Click “My Account” in the left menu
- Copy your account number from the top of the page (e.g. Account #123456)
- Click API credentials in the left menu
- Click the “Create API Credentials” button
- Enter the name “CaptionHub”
- Copy the Client ID
- Click “Show client secret” and copy this as well
In CaptionHub:
You’ll need to enter the details you copied above into the connector setup page.
- Log into CaptionHub
- Paste the Client ID, Secret and Account ID that you copied from the steps above
- The API host should be https://api.languageweaver.com, unless you are using an on-prem install of Language Weaver, in which case, you’ll need to get this setting from your account manager
- The Language model can be left blank, but if you want to use a model trained for your company, you can set the details of this from your account manager.
- Click Save
Now, when you create a translation and select Language Weaver, it will use your own Language Weaver account.
