If your project has captioning constraints configured, CaptionHub continuously checks captions against those limits. When a caption exceeds a configured limit, the Real-time QC button will display a warning or error, indicated by an orange or red badge.

The Translation view provides a focused workflow for reviewing and resolving these issues. You can access it by clicking the Translation view button in the Project pane.

When opened, the Translation view displays the first sentence containing a warning or error. For each issue, you'll see:

  • The source sentence
  • The translated caption(s) affected
  • A description of the issue that needs attention

At the bottom of the view, you'll find a series of colour-coded indicators representing all detected issues in the current caption set:

  • Red indicates an error
  • Orange indicates a warning
  • Green indicates a resolved issue

These indicators also show your progress through the review process.

You can move between issues by clicking Next issue or by selecting one of the colour-coded indicators directly.

Once you have corrected an issue, the corresponding indicator will turn green and the Resolve sentence button will become available. Click Resolve sentence to confirm the fix and continue to the next issue.

If multiple captions within the same source sentence contain issues, they will be grouped together in a single view so they can be reviewed and corrected at the same time.

Notion image

After all issues have been resolved, you'll see an All issues resolved confirmation message.

You can then close the Translation view by clicking the Translation view button in the Project pane again.
