How to live caption a HLS stream from Cloudflare
Cloudflare Stream live outputs HLS that is compatible with Timbra.
Configuration
1. Configure a stream in Cloudflare
- Enable Live Playback and Recording
- Disable Low-Latency HLS support
- Disable Require Signed URLs
2. Create a project in CaptionHub
From the Cloudflare UI, copy the HLS Manifest URL. Use this when creating a new project.
Supported players
We currently do not support Cloudflare’s own player, but you can use any of our supported players for the HLS integration.
Requirements & limitations
- Using signed URLs is not currently supported
- Using Low-Latency HLS support is not currently supported
