The VOD transcript widget makes it easy to display finished captions as an interactive transcript alongside your Brightcove video player. It improves accessibility and allows viewers to read, search, and navigate the video via text.
How to access:
- Complete your captioning project in CaptionHub.
- Ensure the video is linked to your Brightcove player and published.
- Open the Exports tab on your project.
- Select a language version and then click Embed transcript widget from the export options.
- Copy the generated embed code and paste it wherever your Brightcove player is embedded.
Note:
- You might need to adjust your Brightcove permissions in order to be able to embed the videos.
- The transcript widget dynamically pulls from the latest published captions, so any updates to the captions will automatically reflect in the widget.
