💡

This feature is currently in beta and may change or be discontinued as our development and product plans evolve. Availability is not guaranteed. Please contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager for more information on testing with this connector.

Our style guides functionality helps you capture your tone of voice and brand when using LLM-based translation.

Here, you can provide structured settings, written guidance and do and don’t examples that are used during LLM translation and by LLM-based one-time checks when evaluating tone and brand.

Creating a style guide

Before using the style guides feature, you’ll need to create one:

  1. Open the Style guides page from the sidebar.
  1. Click New style guide. Or click Start if you haven’t yet created a style guide.

    1. Tone of voice: use these settings to tailor the tone of your translations:
      1. Formality: casual, neutral or formal
      2. Personality: friendly, professional, playful or authoritative
      3. Sentence style: short & punchy, balanced or flowing
      4. Profanity: allow, ignore or censor

    2. Guidance: use this free text field to provide brand or tone rules that will be sent to the LLM. Think of this as a set of instructions you provide to the translator before starting the task.
