Here is where you can set the default engine for translations.

Amazon Translate is our default translation provider; however, you have the flexibility to choose another provider from the dropdown menu. Our supported translation engines include: DeepL, Google Translate, Amazon Translate, and Language Weaver. Amazon Translate with Translation Memory and OpenAI Translate are both in private beta.

Depending on the provider you select, each engine may offer several transcription settings to customise the transcription process according to your preferences. These can be accessed via your Connectors page.

Allow automatic splitting of overlong captions

CaptionHub will do some automatic post-editing on the translation in order to make it fit your character limits. It is also possible that we might split one of your longer captions into two if the translation just does not fit into a single caption. To disable this behaviour, a Superuser will need to go into Team Settings > Translation and remove the check mark from “Allow automatic splitting of overlong captions”.
