Generate AI summaries – CaptionHub

Make sure your OpenAI connector or AWS Bedrock connector is enabled to see this option available on your live stream project.

You can generate summaries for your in-room events. This is especially useful if you’d like to share a summary of the event with your audience.

There are three available options:

No summary – Nothing will be generated.

Generate manually – Click Regenerate summary now to create a summary on demand. You can add additional context to improve the quality of the summary, such as an event description or speaker information.

Generate automatically – Works the same way as the manual option, but automatically regenerates the summary every minute.

The generated summary will appear in the in-room companion under the Catch up section. It will always display in English, regardless of your stream’s source language.
