Generate AI summaries – CaptionHub

Make sure your OpenAI connector is enabled to see this option available on your live stream project.

You can generate summaries for your in-room events. This is especially useful if you’d like to share a summary of the event with your audience.

There are three available options:

No summary – Nothing will be generated.

Generate manually – Click Regenerate summary now to create a summary on demand. You can add additional context to improve the quality of the summary, such as an event description or speaker information.

Generate automatically – Works the same way as the manual option, but automatically regenerates the summary every minute.

The generated summary will appear in the Companion or Transcript widget under the Catch up section. It will always display in English, regardless of your stream’s source language.
