Add ElevenLabs Voices to your Voice Library
Requirements: Enterprise subscription, beta testers
CaptionHub provides voices that are fully synthetic. This means they are not modelled on real people, so there are no rights issues to consider when creating your voiceovers.
We understand that some customers prefer to use their own choice of voices within CaptionHub. You can now do this through the ElevenLabs connector.
How to add a voice
- From your Team menu, go to Connectors → Voiceover → ElevenLabs.

- Open the ElevenLabs Voice Library and select the voice you you want to use. Click the ⋯ (three dots) button and choose Copy voice ID.
Make sure to note the notice period that the voice owner has applied. You may need to replace a voice in the future if its owner chooses to remove it from ElevenLabs.

- Back in CaptionHub, paste the Voice ID into the form and click Add.

The voice details will now appear in the table below. This voice will be available across all languages and projects within your team.

Creating a new voiceover with your voice
When creating a new voiceover, your added voices will appear in the Speaker list within the Voiceover modal. All voices you’ve added will include (Team Voice) next to their name.

If you no longer wish to keep a voice in your library, you can remove it through the ElevenLabs connector. Any existing voiceovers created with that voice will remain unaffected.
Notice period and expiration date
When you add an ElevenLabs voice to your Team library, you’ll see the notice period associated with it. If a voice in your library has been discontinued and is due to expire, an expiration date will also be displayed.
Once this date is reached, the voice will appear as Expired and:
- It can no longer be added to new CaptionHub libraries.
- If the voice is already present in your CaptionHub library, your team can continue using it until the notice period ends.
- Existing projects using the voice will not be affected — all previously generated clips will remain intact.
- However, once the notice period has ended, the voice will no longer be available if you attempt to regenerate an entire project or recreate individual clips.
We recommend reviewing any ongoing or planned projects using the voice and completing them within the notice period, where possible.
