Resetting your browser

Most issues that will arise will CaptionHub are likely to be based on your browser. Hitting Refresh will work in most cases, but emptying the browser's cache might be a final resort.

 

If these instructions don't seem to apply, please make sure you're running the most recent versions of your browser.

 

Safari (Mac)

  1. Choose Safari > Preferences > Advanced and check the "Show Develop menu in menu bar” checkbox
  1. Develop should now appear in the menu bar; please choose Empty Caches from the menu.
  1. Try logging in again.
 

Chrome (Mac + Windows)

  1. Open Chrome.
  1. On your browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu .
  1. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
  1. In the box that appears, click the checkboxes for "Cookies and other site and plug-in data" and "Cached images and files."
  1. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
  1. Click Clear browsing data.
  1. Try logging in again.
