Primary and fallback transcription services
Switch to the fallback transcription service
To ensure availability, Timbra can use multiple transcription services.
Manually switching
You can manually switch between the primary service and the fallback service using the Transcription service setting. Open your live project and go to Languages & settings. Select the pencil next to your source language (Edit source language settings), then choose Speechmatics or Speechmatics (fallback) under Transcription service. You’ll have to restart the flow.
Limitations
- The fallback transcription service provides slightly lower quality
- Audio events are not available
