Getting Started

Team settings: Security

Restrict access by IP address, add a watermark and enforce MFA

📢
Requirement: Enterprise plan

Security is critical for CaptionHub, and many of our users. In the Security tab, you can configure various options, for enhanced security.

IP address whitelisting

If you'd like to restrict access to CaptionHub to a defined location, or group of computers, you're able to enter their IP address ranges here. Click Add range, then enter the start and end IP of each range. Caution should be used with this: if you mistype, you may lock yourself out of CaptionHub. If you delete every range, anyone with a team account can sign in from any IP address.

Watermark

Here, you can choose an image file (a PNG file, no larger than 730x402 pixels in dimensions), and CaptionHub will show it on the preview video in the caption editor for all your team's projects. Any transparency must be part of the PNG file itself.

Multi-factor authentication

When “Enforce multi-factor authentication for users” is ticked, multi-factor authentication is required for team users at login. This doesn’t apply to users who sign in using SSO.
