Duplicating a project
To duplicate a project, select Duplicate project from the More actions ⋯ drop-down menu. You’ll be prompted to select a team from the drop-down menu. If your account includes child teams, you can choose to duplicate the project into one of them.
The duplicated project retains the original captions, translation captions and their respective statuses, along with all formatting applied to the source project.
The following settings are cleared on the duplicated project:
- Language profile
- Style guide
- Propagation preference
- Customer reference
- Folder
The duplicated project is renamed by appending (duplicated YYYYMMDDHHMM) to the original project name.
Note: Comments and assignments are not carried over to the duplicated project.
